Introduction

Pedn-Olva (meaning lookout on the headland) is founded on blue-black rocks on the southern shores of St. Ives Harbour and Bay and since the 19th century has been a registered navigational mark for ships.

The Pedn Olva Hotel, built on a rocky promontory, overlooking the ancient town and harbour of St Ives, Cornwall, whose riches were fishing, mining and smuggling and now are the Arts and Tourism.

Contemporary, romantic and breathtaking are but a few ways to describe the Pedn Olva Hotel, with its 31 distinctive bedrooms, restaurant, bar, terraces and swimming pool that make it an ideal stay for a weekend break, a short holiday or a venue for a wedding or special event.
